Gifted/Talented Education

Sheridan School District has programs in place to serve the special needs of gifted and talented students. Students with special talents are identified through test scores, class work, and parent and teacher recommendation.   Classroom teachers work with the gifted and talented coordinator to develop strategies that encourage higher level thinking and provide challenging activities for students.
