Sheridan School District welcomes any Colorado student to enroll in our public schools when space is available.

Age requirements
Students must be five years old by October 1 to enter kindergarten and six by October 1 to enter first grade.

What school will my child attend?
The grade level of your student will determine which school they attend.

Early Childhood:  3 and 4 years old
Alice Terry Elementary: Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade
Fort Logan Elementary: 3rd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade
Sheridan Middle School: 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade
Sheridan High School: 9th grade, 10th grade 11th grade and 12th grade

What you will need

• All new students should have a birth certificate. Students must be fully immunized in accordance with the Colorado Immunization Laws. Requirements vary by grade level. For specific requirements, please check with the school that your child is enrolling in. Proof of your home address such as a rental agreemen, or something mailed to your home. Secondary students should bring a copy of grades or transcripts from their former school.
•  Sheridan School District charges fees for certain activities and materials.
